Job Title: Sr. CAD Designer

Job Description
We are looking for a contract CAD Designers who will work with mechanical engineers to design 3D CAD models and 2D drawings. The CAD designer must follow design rules and GD&T standard. This position requires working with design responsible engineers.

Requirements
• Expertise in 3D modeling and creating 2D drawings in Catia V6 or NX
• 5 Years in a design/drafting experience in various areas such as electrical components, wires, as well as mechanical parts
• Extended knowledge in GD&T, ASME Y14.5M-1994
• Working knowledge in dimensioning and tolerance study
• Work closely with design engineers
• Find out drawing requirements by speaking to engineers and revise design based on their needs
• Support design engineers on packaging study in the CAD software and revise CAD model accordingly.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Create models out of rough sketches

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Steel stamping and Aluminum extrusion
• 5+ years experience in 2D/3D CAD design

Salary: $30/hr to $40/hr + 10% bonus based on performance
The working term is 2 – 3 months and can be full time based on performance.
